The Perfect Fit

It seems like every few minutes on the radio is an ad for the Friendly's Burger Melt - a hamburger wedged between not one but two grilled cheese sandwiches. Really?! At a time when the prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes has exceeded Type 1 Diabetes in children and the US's BMI is increasing considerably more than any of our 401k's are, America's family restaurant helps the cause by offering a sandwich that packs (with fries)a whopping 1500 calories, 97 grams of fat and 2,090 milligrams of sodium! (http://www.friendlys.com/media/pdf/nutrition/FriendlysLunchDinnerMenu.pdf) What makes it even worse is that it's at a special price of $5 making it even more appealing to those on a limited income.

Worried that you won't be able to fit into those $250 '7 for All Mankind' jeans anymore? Don't sweat it! www.buyperfectfitbutton.com has got you covered! For a mere $10 + shipping and handling, you can keep on eating and extend those jeans.*

* Cholesterol, hypertension, acid reflux and insulin meds are not included.

Here's the problem with this sandwich. when they started selling deep fried twinkies I said, "Yuck". When they introduced that KfS bucket of crap I said, "Gross" When they put the bacon and cheese between two deep fried chicken patties I said, "you've got to be kidding me" When I heard about this sandwich I said, "I'd have a heart attack if I ate that, but it sounds really good."
